Terms of Use
Terms of the TAVI private beta
Effective 26 September 2026 · Revision 2026-09-26.1
1. Participation
TAVI is an experimental Android beta available by personal invitation. A one-time code expires after 30 minutes. Device access lasts 30 days after activation and may be revoked sooner. The beta operator is the person who issued your invitation. Contact that person through your invitation channel for questions about access, these terms or your data. If you do not know who invited you, do not activate the app.
2. Consent during activation
Read these Terms and the Privacy Notice before activating. An unchecked consent box means no consent. After you check it, the “Activate and start diagnostics” button begins Android’s sequential permission requests. Activation completes only after precise location and “Allow all the time” access are granted. The server records the terms revision, acceptance time and IP address. Already activated devices must accept this revision before continuing.
3. Continuous diagnostics
Continuous location and network monitoring is a condition of this private beta. Once activated, the monitoring service may run while the VPN is off, the app is closed or the screen is locked, subject to Android restrictions. A persistent notification is displayed. The server also records VPN traffic metadata, including DNS names, visible host names and unencrypted HTTP paths. The full categories and retention periods are in the Privacy Notice. Encrypted HTTPS content and raw packets are not stored.
4. Stopping and revoking
You may stop monitoring in TAVI’s notification or revoke location access in Android settings. The beta VPN then pauses until you accept the terms again and restart the service. If Android’s “Block connections without VPN” is enabled, ordinary internet may also be blocked. Ask your inviter to revoke your device or handle a deletion request. Disconnecting the VPN alone does not stop background diagnostics.
5. Use and limitations
Use TAVI within the scope of your invitation and applicable rules. This test version offers no guarantee of availability, speed, bypassing restrictions or anonymity. Websites and networks may still learn about your traffic independently of TAVI. You control Android’s always-on VPN and blocking settings.
6. Changes
Revision 2026-09-26.1, effective 26 September 2026. Material changes require acceptance of a new revision before testing continues. The current text appears on this page. Contact the operator through the person who invited you.
